Simon moved Mom into her hospital room this past Saturday. She’s got a great spot on the 8th floor; lots of natural light, views of NYC, and plenty of trees.
Soon after she settled in, they connected her to her new BFF, an IV pole that’ll be connected to her for the duration of her 3+ weeks in the hospital. (She named the pole Lola. This way she’s got Lola and Lala keeping her company during her transplant.)

Since being admitted, Mom has received four days of chemo treatments and one day of whole body radiation.
Today, on the second day of Rosh Hashanah, Mom is receiving her bone marrow transplant.
We all hope and pray that is a blessing and good start to the beginning of a new year, and a new life! Baruch HaShem.
Mom will be monitored for the next few weeks in the hospital.
