Mom’s coming home today!
She saw the infectious disease doctor:
It’s not a fungal infection (that’s good news).
They have her on two antibiotics for the sinus infection.
She saw the dentist:
Got a clean bill of health. There are no dental issues.
She’s getting another blood transfusion before they’ll discharge her. She’s been so weak that the hospital staff hasn’t let her leave her bed without assistance.

She’ll be checked by the doctor on Monday and they’ll assess whether to delay chemo or not (she’s currently scheduled for her 2nd cycle of chemo starting this Monday).
Thank you for the update! That’s great she’s going home. Sounds like she’s been in great hands. Praying for more good news going forward.
She must be so released to go home.
