From Covid to cancer overnight. In a million years I not only ever expected to hear, but who’d ever think covid could save a life?!
I have to say that I am one lucky mom. All 3 kids just went into action like a synchronized watch. Sharing their strengths and taking charge of my care, short and long term.
My children mean the world to me and I can’t even put into words how much I love them. I have watched them grow into loving, caring, intelligent and spiritual adults. I see how bonded they are with each other and how the traditions they grew up with are now being passed down to their children.
I am so proud of their individual accomplishments and how each is leading the life true to them. They live in integrity and have loving, caring partners that are my children as well.
The grandchildren? Don’t get me started. They are, of course, gorgeous, brilliant and the funniest kids on the planet.
I may have cancer, but cancer doesn’t have me. With all of you in my life supporting and loving me, I can do this.
