Mom came to the cancer center today to get her PICC line checked, after a day or two of redness, inflammation, some puss, and a little bit of pain.
We played it safe and called the dr, who advised she come and get it checked out.
She had a low grade fever this morning, so the incredibly kind staff cleaned her PICC line thoroughly, and they are now giving her 2 antibiotics intravenously.
They also drew blood work. Good news! All her blood levels are within her normal range, so no transfusions are needed on this day.
Mom will come home and we will take her temperature 2x a day, to monitor her and make sure she doesn’t spike a fever.
We will follow up with her doctors on Monday with her planned appointment- which is her second cycle of chemo.
Baruch HaShem, perfect timing because this weekend she will be surrounded by all three of her children!!
Just in time to get her ready. We will all be on our best behavior. 😊🙏❤️

So happy she has her trifecta back with her. Praying for continued good news to keel coming in. Love you guys.
Beautiful pictures…. sending tight hugs to you both ❣️‼️
