It seems like I have Joelle’s cellphone because she answered immediately and directly! (insert evil maniacal laugh).
They have a new specialist infectious disease doc looking at her MRI now and he is supposedly with mom at this moment. Joelle now suspects based on his leanings that she will undergo the procedure, so still no food/liquids/etc. This should be determined within the next half hour or so.
After meeting with infectious disease doc, she will go to a different floor to the dental clinic to get some x-rays on what’s happening with her mouth/tooth.
She’s still not in her room on the 9th floor.
The reason there is another ID doc looking at the MRI is because the findings were pretty vague, and they hope he will determine something more definitive so they can conclude if surgery would be wise and efficacious, albeit a risk due to her very low white blood cell count.
Hoping Joelle calls back within 2 hours so I don’t have to stalk her.
