This weeks Doctors visit went very well.
After a week of at home Chemo pills, Mom wasn’t sure what news or numbers she would get, or how many hours she would be spending on this particular visit.
But that dose not stop this beautiful angel, who is also one heck of a a fighter, because with confidence and with A LOT of flare she strutted into the Cancer Center with her Red Cheetah print Walker and her Newley re-discovered black Patent Leather shoes.
The doctor then came in and discussed her blood work. Her numbers showed, all blood count remained stable. Meaning no blood transfusions were needed, and no platelet infusions were necessary.
The Doctors and Nurses all complimented Mom on here outfit, which by the way was very very fashionable, “apparently.” Did i mention her Patent Leather Shoes.
With the good comes some sadness, this week has had plenty of tough moments.
The end of the month brings the end of Moms lease, which brings the end of Moms chapter of Independence.
Mom has been cleaning out her apartment and finalizing her move into Jennie and Rob’s Home.
She begins leaning into this New Chapter of Less Loneliness and More Time with Family.
Mom will turn in her keys and polish her pewter (for Elizabeth), as she lessens her load and strengthens her requests in asking for what she needs and deserves , as she rightly begins to strength from within everything she needs and wants in life.
